R is for... Craft Barn Challenge

Hi all

I am continuing with the Craft Barn Challenge, and I must catch up on those I missed at the beginning of the year, but here is R.

R is for: Raven, Return, Regal, Ribbon and Rubberstamping, and also for Red!

I cut my base card which a pearlescent gold/bronze colour, so that it would fold out, whilst still fitting in the binder I have made up for these challenges.

I stamped up the arrows on Nenah solar white, and cut them out.

I cut a piece of Clarity's Theuva card, and coloured it with distress inks, then stamped it with the lovely Raven.  When I stuck it down I left a gap, so I could insert a tag with the Ribbon and Raven definitions.  I have opted for the architectural definition of Return - a part of a building that forms an angle with the facade (but thinking about the fold out part of the card - OK so it's a bit tenuous!!)

The lovely lady is a Christmas Stamp from Lynne Perella, but I cut off the fern fronds surrounding her to make her less seasonal.  She looks incredibly Regal to me!  But I had to add a Crown, which is gold embossed.  I carried a little of the gold embossing into her head-dress.  The background is of course Rubberstamped using wood grain (could it be Rosewood??), and a few more Ravens.
